The Volvo FH Aero gas-powered is a powerful, fuel-efficient truck designed for long and regional haul, forest and timber, and agriculture assignments. It’s aerodynamically shaped to reduce drag at high speeds, and when you use bio-LNG with HVO100, you can get up to 100% reduction of CO2 emissions –which can translate to more transport assignments in areas where emissions regulations restrict the use of conventional trucks.

Brake quickly and safely
The Volvo Engine Brake enhances braking performance at low engine speeds, reducing downshifting and maintaining consistent control. For added braking power, a driveline retarder is recommended, particularly with heavy loads on rolling terrain.

The 13-liter gas-powered engine is already optimized to help deliver fuel efficiency and lower costs. With LNG instead of diesel, you can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 20%. You can also choose renewable bio-LNG when it makes sense and get up to 100% CO2 reduction with bio-LNG using HVO 100.
